I got a good tip from my Vet the other day when I told him that my 6 mo old pup kept trying to chew and bite (gently) on my hands and wrists whenever I tried to collar him, or wipe his feet when he came in or any number of other times.

The tip, and it seems to be working, is to give him a quick shot of Binaca or some other mouth spray directly on his tounge! It works, he stops, sits, and allows me to collar him most of the time now and all I have to do is reach for my shirt pocket, even if I don't have the spray readily at hand.

I am also starting to try this when the puppy steals things like socks, hankys, etc. He can be very growly and owly when we try to get it away from him. He definetely does not like Binaca.

Just thought I would post this and maybe help some one else who is new to GWP's. Randy
