| I have a 2 year old female who I have hunted alot since about 6 months old mostly ruffed grouse but it seems like the more I hunt her the more birds she ie just flushing instead of pointing my question is with a dog of her age is it to late to grt her steady on point or if I am to late if there is atill hope I would realy apreciate help on tecniques to use thank you for your help |

It's not too late. But you have to start with her yard work (basice obedience and whoa training) and then carry it over to the field. The more you allow her to chase now, the more ingrained the behaviour is going to become.
Do you shoot the birds she flushes? If so, you are rewarding this behaviour .... it's time to train her. |
