The WI. River & NCW chapters of NAVHDA are holding their first Chuckar Challenge Aug. 16. The Challenge is an hour brace run through forest and fields with a minimum of 12 birds chuckar and quail planted for each brace. This fun day came from an idea to help prepare handler and dog who have qualified for the VC, for its field portion of the test. It also is for the dog that has ended its testing career and whose handler would like to enter their dog in fun competitions. A minimum UT III is required.

Cost is $32 per dog with any and all profits given to the Mead Grounds Association (MGA) for grounds improvements and general upkeep.
