| These forums have been so helpful. So, I will as this question, how much should my dog weigh? He is 19 months old, soon to be 20 months. He is 25 inches at the shoulder, in my opinion he has a deeper chest. Currently he weighs 65 lbs. Great energy and health but seems to look heavier than all the Wires im looking at in pics and videos. Im in the process of stripping him so hopefully he will look "better" afterwards. He generally gets an hour a day of running hard in the field and or chasing and catching frizbee. Not to mention quite a few walks in between. |

Hi,
Sounds like his weight is fine. My year old wire weighs 60 lbs and is 26 inches tall - my four year old male is 25 inches tall and weighs 52 lbs (he is thin).
Your dog is getting enough exercise and I would not be too concerned. |
