Bill,
Typical of Euro trials but any US trialer is going to be laughing hard at this.
This dog is being handled and conditioned to run a big quartering pattern that is typical of brace trials all over Europe, contrary to what judges want to see here. They want to see a dog going away, hitting objectives...not mechanically quartering...no matter how much ground the dog covers. |

I presumed as much, Jon.
The dog was obviously being handled and trained TO Quarter, but in the latter parts of the video, the dog was on the move working towards some objectives/treeline ( I will watch it again)
Definately not your run of the mill booklicking versatile that so many tend to pre judge.
Had some snap, crack and pop to him...I liked his zest.
I have never seen a Fousek in my life, Czechs claim they are not a DD, Im not so sure, with the rebuilding after the War, what all went in to rebuilding that breed. _________________ Real men hunt Wire Dogs |
