This past weekend the German Wirehaired Pointer Club Of Illinois had their first specialty show in a brand new location on a brand new date.
The event was a huge success with 23 total dogs entered!
There were majors both days in both sexes-
Sat dogs were a 4 point major and Sunday a 3 point -- bitches were 5 point majors both days.
10 puppies were entered in sweeps and 2 veterans.
Winners dog Sat was Drakkars RLB Celtic Private Eye- who also went BSS and G1 BIS Puppy!
Winners Bitch was Mountain View National Secret
BOB was CH Star K'S Mile Hi Valentine (also G3) /OS was CH Mt Views Ripsnorter Silver Charm
Sunday WD was Mountain View National Acclaim
WB was Kaizans Let It Be At Chase's
BOB was the same as sat (G3) as was BOS
over 40 specialty embroidered towels were awarded as well as stuffed toys for every dog entered and sunday had bowls of goodies and toys plus a bag of treats and dog food donated by purina for the top 5-
it was a great time- mark your calendars for next years Illinois Specialty- dont miss it! The 2nd weekend in May- Rock Island Illinois.
