| i have an 18 week old gwp bitch and when you let off the gun shot she runs is der any suggestion on how to prevent this or is it common for a young gwp |

I had taken some of my dogs to the local trap range to help with this problem. We started just sitting in the truck, then standing outside the truck then closer and closer till it didn't bother them anymore. Patience was the key.
I can feel you pain though. I have a Llewellen setter( I can never spell that correctly ) that is of show quality, perfect build, never tires and can run like the wind but she is gun shy and won't hunt anything with feathers. She loves stuff with fur though, mice, moles, cats,,, |
