just windering what is the reccommended age to start traing the dig to retrieve...

Hi,

It is never to early to start getting a reliable retrieve - I start my dogs out early (just playing with their toys). I toss them and make a big deal when they bring them back. I know there are other methods to use - but I have yet to have a dog not retrieve when I use this method. It turns into a big game with them - they love it and it never occurs to them not to bring back whatever you throw or shoot for them.

All three of my wires meet me at the door with something in their mouths.
