This is a very nice write up......Tom was great to have around.
Glad to hear that everyone got home safe (though some got held up by a snow storm!) and I think that the winner of the Garmin has actually turned a dog loose!
Thanks to all who participated and helped put on a top notch event.....it was another wonderful showcase for our breed.
PS: Congrats, Bernee....don't let those other sites get to ya. Jealousy. |

Yes the Garmin winner has turned the dog loose. Today was the day. Of course it was in a 10 acre chain linked area but he could not see any fence on 3 sides. Ya'll were right. He didn't run off and he kept checking in. He ran for more than two hours. I had a wonderful time at Nationals; met many wonderful people; and can't wait to go next year. Thanks to everyone who has helped push me into turning the dog loose. |

Rhonda,
Have you seen a good picture of the NFC placements. I wasn't thinking real clearly at the time, and I forgot to hire a photographer. |

Tony;
Congrats on your Nationals success!
I haven't seen any pics from that stake....have you checked with Bernee and Jodi? I know that Bernee had some on her blog very soon after Nationals, and I'm sure that Jodi will have some for the next issue of the Wire News.
I'll keep my eyes open for ya!
And, I gotta tell ya.....Miss Kitty finished her FC with a 5 pt retreiving win in Georgia! |

Tony,
if you go to my blog page below, there is a photo of all the placements. I can send it to you if you like that one. I will check to see what else I have.
Rhonda. congrats on Miss Kitty!!!! Is she called something else as well? I saw a Wire down there that has been placing quite a bit. _________________ visit my page to learn about German Wirehaired Pointers

Bernee;
Her registered name is Brillow's Wild West Show. Bob Erbe handled her to 4th in the Amateur Field Championship in October. She was ranked in May....we'll see if she holds on. She's been a bit of a tough luck dog; but well worth every minute!!
I think Earl Fowls, Deb Darby and Brenda Roe have all placed dogs down there this winter, too. The wires are burning it up....in open company with multiple pros at each trial!! |

Congratulations!!!
I also finished my little white GWP's FC with a 3-pointer at the GWPCI trial. I set the alarm for 3:00 AM, drove to Des Plaines, borrowed a horse, and won the Open Gun Dog! He still needs a major and retrieving points for his AFC, so we will continue to trial him and keep him in shape for Pickneyville in October.
BTW, I am pretty sure that Ray Dohse and Dave Walker each have a white female GWP on their string that have been doing well this year. |

Congratulations to you, too. Which one did you finish?
Dohse's little bitch is really doing a bang up job. Jim saw her down south.
The snow has arrived here in SW Iowa.....wasn't quite ready for it today!
Take Care,
Rhonda |
