Moved from Texas to Wisconsin abot 4.5 years ago. Researched then bought a Wirehair for a hunting/family dog. He's become a vital part of our family. Here's the dilemma, we're moving back to Texas. Rosco appears miserable when the temperatures reach the 80's here and we all know the temperatures reached in Texas. He does not stay outside, but even short times in the warmer weather here appear hard for him to handle. Do you think he'll be able to adapt to the extreme climate change? We love him dearly, but we also want what's best for him.
I'm sure others have been in this situation.
Thanks |

Hi,
He will be fine - I live in Colorado and it gets pretty hot here - my three wires do great - I just have to be careful what time I take them out to run or play.
Just remember - he is happy where ever his family is. |
