I finally broke down and spent $20 on a pinch collar, told my husband it was only $9....lol, and what a difference. I went to take CC for a walk and the first time she pulled she just let out a little yelp and didn't try to pull again. I've been able to walk CC and enjoy it. There are kids playing outside, she doesn't even look at them, men are outside walking in their garages and working by the side of the road and she doesn't flinch. For the 1st time yesterday a man was putting out garbage and I was able to say HI to him and my dog just kept walking. I was even able to walk her to the gas station with my husband and she just sat at my side and didn't bark or try going after anyone. She also seems to have a totally different attitude about me, like she respects me, maybe?
I feel like a little kid with a new toy....lol I've also been working with her on training in the house and it's really making a difference.
I cannot thank you guys enough for this website and for the advice, it has really made a difference.
Thanks Again |

Hi,
I too walk my wires on pinch collars - I refer to it as "power steering".
Glad that you are making progress with your girl. Keep up the good work.
