These are a few from grouse hunting last season. The liver dog was a GWP rescue we adopted in 2006. Special thanks to Mary M and everyone involved in rescuing this wonderful breed. We are very lucky to have Dodger and he is a great family dog and hunting partner.
The dogs and I are heading to the UP for four days of grouse and woodcock tomorrow. Dodger had a great weekend last weekend and pointed several birds. I hope everyone that hunts with their GWP's has a great season and is able to put their dogs on lots of birds. |

Great pictures!
I'd be grouse hunting today, but it's 80 degrees over here! Mowing lawn for about the 100th time, and cleaning the garage.
I see Dodger is a pillow hog. _________________ I like Wires! |

Oops! My bad Dodger! The other guy is the pillow hog!
My first GWP who sadly left us last August (07) after a great life and hunting career looked a lot like Dodger. _________________ I like Wires! |
