If you go to the home page, www.gwpca.com you will find all of the information and some premium lists for the 2008 national events.
All of this will be mailed to gwpca members with the summer Wire News, but it can be downloaded right from the website as well.
Any questions.... ask away! |

What is a 'premium' list ?
I'm looking for the list of dogs invited to attend Hunt Test / Junior level GWP. |

A premium list is just a pamphlet that give you all the information you need to enter an event. Time, place, hotels, just the details.
The entries for these events will close (must have all entries in to the appropriate person) on September 17th. So we won't know who is entered until then.
If you will check www.gwpca.com you can view all of the premium lists for each event, and check after Sept. 17th and we should have a breakdown of how many dogs are entered in each event
Hope this helps.... _________________ visit my page to learn about German Wirehaired Pointers

Is it possible for GWP owners to attend as simple spectators? If so is there a fee? And how much would a spectator be able to observe? Are the tests comparable to a NAVHDA set up? Or is it more like field trials? In short, could someone post a short summary of events in laymens terms. _________________ All with a grain of salt!/ |

All of our events are user friendly!
Friday, Saturday and Sunday are our shows. On Friday it's GWP's only and we'll start early in the morning with puppy classes. No fee, just come and watch!
Monday and Tuesday will be our hunting tests at Branched Oaks in Raymond. . Again, very user friendly, you can follow the braces on foot. There will be lots of folks there to answer questions.
Tuesday through probably Saturday are the Field Championships. Now, these are run off horseback, so you will need to rent a horse to see anything. There will be horses on the grounds. Maybe a gallery wagon if we can pull that one off.
Everyone is welcome to come out, to participate or just to watch!!! When the entries close, and we have a bit more information I'll post the starting times for all events here.
Keep an eye on this space... sometime between September 18th and the 23rd (good guestimate!)
