Hello! I'm a newbie here and am looking for advice on diabetes. Our gal was diagnosed yesterday and will start blood monitering tomorrow. Anybody gone down this path? What to expect? Max is one tough girl-but down to 85lbs and just turned 11 in jan.

Hello - hope your dog is doing well being a diabetic. I have one as well diagnosed in 3/07.

The size is of a concern, as bitches should not be over 60 lbs and that would a large one.

What is her weight at now and how are things going for you?
