This was taken at the Lakeland-Winter Haven Kennel Club on 06/17/2007. Reece took BOB over specials for a 4 point major and she was only six months old.

Shortly after this she also got her CGC title, completed her basic obedience class, started her first agility class, and has been training on birds. Reece is my first BBE and she is going to be lots of fun.

Do you hunt with your dogs? If so, what type of game do you hunt? Also, what does BBE stand for?

Yes we hunt, right now I hunt my dogs on quail to practice them for their AKC Hunt Test. Reece the girl in the picture will enter her first hunt test in October and this fall she will be in some field trials.

BBE is a class in dog shows and it stands for Breed by Exhibitor, Reece is from my first litter and it means that I breed, own, and handle her in the show ring.

She is 7 months old

We recently joined our local NAVHDA chapter and I plan to have Reece Natural Ability Tested.

Thanks Nikki, Wirehairs are the best, they can do about anything. I am so glad to have found this breed.

and yes my husband has hunted with his boy Baron, it is me that likes the hunt tests and field trials. He does not like them because there is to much sitting around and not enough time in the field.

Katie also from my first litter took BOS over specials for a four point major at six months old. I am so proud of these puppies and their owners. I have a few novice GWP owners and they are showing, hunting, and some of them are even coming to Nationals.
