My wife and I have been researching various breeds in search of a dog for us. Problem is, my wife is allergic to many types of dog coats. I think she may not be allergic to wire-hairs but we don't know. I would like to know if anyone has a gwp in So. Fl. so that we might visit the dog and let my wife play/pet him or her and see if she has a reaction to the coat. We have found a breeder that we like, but we do not want to purchase a puppy before we have confirmed if the coat of the dog will be the right type for her.

I'm North of you in Crystal River. You're certainly welcome to come and play with my GWP who is 14 months old. There is also a breeder not far away in Reddick. George
