| We've always gone by the old rule that seems to work that a dog grows to it's final height by 1 year and then spends the next year filling out. All of our dogs have been pretty close to this. |

My dogs seem to have their last height growth spur around 16 months old. Then they start filling out.
Some lines grow slower than others and physically mature slower as well. I myself, like to look at a 12 month old dog and be able to tell it's 12 months old. Still immature looking. Growing too fast usually harms the body in some way shape or form. |
