Hi Ann!
Congrats on Gunner! I bet he is ADORABLE! I'm in Minneapolis too so maybe we'll bump into you at the dog park sometime.

Hi Anne - are you a member of GWPC of Minnesota? We just joined along with NAHVDA. If you are a member maybe we'll see you there! Otherwise who knows - it's a small world!

I have done a fair bit of reading on this diet and decided to try it as my
16 month old was thin and I liked the idea of natural feeding.

He has been on chicken backs for almost a week now and several days ago I gave him a bit of pureed veggies and chicken liver which he loved. The problem is he has refused any food for almost 2 days. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen and whether I should just ride it out or should I be proactive.

Hi,

I too feed raw along with a high grade kibble - my 3yr old is a poor eater but she loves her chicken - I feed her chicken necks, chicken wings & backs. Sometimes she stops eating & I just switch the meat to beef & she gets right back on eating. I think sometimes they get bored with the same thing.
