Well I finality got it. The water test that is.The Tarheel weim club had a water test this past week end. My girl got it done. it was any thing but pretty. She just finished her heat 2 days before. we got picked up in our master brace she took about a half a step on the flush. Oh well after being in the kennel for almost a month I didn't think we would get a pass on the brace but was really counting on the water test. When I called for the bird she marked the fall and the forgot how to swim? we have been swimming every week end since last spring 2 UKC water tests and now she forgets how to swim. Any way after several looonng minutes she slides in to the pond and heads straight for the bird what started out to be a 25 to 30 yard mark is now well over 40 yard mark and the bird is almost back to the bank. As soon as she got the bird in her mouth I hit the whistle She did a 180 and delivered to hand. What made it so bad is there where about 30 people in the gallery to watch the only dog entered in the water test. Like I said it was not pretty but she got it done. That gave her.Her SH and we need 3 more legs for her Master.
