I am researching information prior to writing an article about tail docking for a popular pointing dog magazine. I am looking for facts and trivia, general information and personal anecdotes from people with short-tailed pointing dogs - do you have a brief, pertinent story or comment? Topics solicited include history, folklore, effect of docking on agility, gait, balance, etc., practical reasons for docking tails of sporting dogs, complications resulting from docking or not docking...I'm open for discussion!
