It is with great sorry that I must let you all know of the passing of a great friend and terrific dog.
Yesterday we helped Travis (Ch. Shurcan's Finders Keepers) make his way to the rainbow bridge after suffering a coronoary and cerebral incident earlier in the day.
Travis was a rescue dog who I never intended to keep. In fact, when he came to me I didn't even have GWPs, I had Siberian Huskies. But his goofy face, intelligent eyes and willing, can-do attitude won me over and I knew he was here to stay.
He was the consumate show dog, believeing the show ring was for him and him only. He was crazy on birds and felt the only thing better than a bird in the mouth, was a bird in the mouth in the water. He was a delight to live with and even up to the night before he passed was playing a gentle game of tug with the new puppy.
He was truly a great dog and wonderful family friend.
G'bye Trav.

Sheri,
It is with tears in my eyes that I read about the passing of Travis. I remember meeting Travis once & thought what a neat dog he was.
Doc, Sky & Ciara send there love also.
Keep remembering the good times you had & all the fun you two enjoyed.

Sheri,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I read the story about Travis a few years ago on your web site and know he was very special guy.
