| I am looking for a new GWP for a companion and a business partner. I own/operate a guide business in New Hampshire www.greysoutfitting.com and we just retired two dogs (American Water Spaniel and a english pointer. We are looking to replace both dogs with a GWP (raised with the breed). I am looking for a reputable breeder in the northeast in which the parents have strong hunting lines. I would like to meet the parents and possibly accompany them during some fieldwork or training. Please contact me with any helpful info. I would like a puppy in spring/early summer. |

Nice to see that there are still people out there who like to put dogs at work.
Although I am no expert in this field, I am a little surprised that you would consider a GWP for this job. In my training, we did cover seing eye dogs and we were told 2 things: they need calm dogs, and dogs which are not very tall because it is too hard on the shoulder of the person being guided. Was this the private opinion of this lecturer rather than that of the persons involved? |

Cheerio, please check out the website.
It is a hunting guide service not a seeing eye dog service. I would never be able to offer that kind of service. |
