I am looking for a puppy or a young adult. My last was a wonderful dog I adopted from our local SPCA. "Buster" was the love of my life. I never knew what he was, until I found this website. I am from PA and am willing to drive 4 hours in any direction from Philadelphia.

My husband and I live on a farm.

ANy help with a breeder or for adopting, I would appreciate.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, you could look into the "rescue dog" site, through this club. There are plenty of dogs that are available; these are dogs that have been abandonded, lost, or had to have been given up due to different circumstances.

If there is a rescued dog but it is out of state, I mean on the other coast, how do I arrange to adopt it? At this time, I can;t fly out there to get it, I have a 3 month old.

There were 2 wirehairs in the rescue site in PA. I saw these by going into the rescue site.

A five month old male at SPCA Bedford, NH. Great dog but not socialized with small children. He was unsure of my children (1year and 3 years) but not a mean dog but only initially sniffed them and then peered at them from behind the staff. Call directory inquires for the number. Not on petfinders.
